Costao promotes Latin American Gastronomic Festival

From 09/14 to 09/19, Costao hosts chefs from Chile and Argentina in a week of themed dinners, lunches, workshops, and unique experiences.

International chefs will be at the resort in Florianópolis from September 14th to 19th to celebrate Latin American cuisine with themed meals, workshops, and exclusive experiences.

A reference when it comes to gastronomy, Costao do Santinho hosts the Latin American Gastronomic Festival from September 14th to 19th, with the participation of invited chefs. The event brings together renowned chefs from Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Brazil for a week of gastronomic experiences with lunches, dinners, themed coffees, happy hours, and workshops.

The festival features chefs Enrique Araya (Chile) and Ezequiel Gomes Maciel (Argentina). The program also includes workshops and themed breakfasts, with ceviches, alfajores, and medialunas to signature menus and pairings with wines, cachaças, and artisanal cheeses.

Meet the guest chefs:

Enrique Araya – Executive chef and F&B director of Hotel Regal Pacific Santiago, in the Chilean capital, his style is marked by continuous creativity, innovating every day and constantly updating the menu. He is an active member of the French Culinary Academy and recognized for his dedication to regional cuisine, local ingredients, and flavor.

Ezequiel Gomes Maciel – An Argentine who has lived in Chile for 10 years, the chef has built a career marked by his passion for fire and the authenticity of Latin American cuisine. His training had a fundamental milestone alongside Francis Mallmann, considered one of the greatest masters of world gastronomy, from whom he absorbed techniques, philosophy, and absolute respect for the elements of fire, smoke, and time.

The event takes place in Costao's main restaurants: Restaurante Nossa Senhora das Ondas, Trattoria, Kaigan, and Espaço Gastronômico Sambaqui.

09/17 (Wednesday): Three-course dinner “Between the Mountain Range and the Sea” with chef Enrique Araya at Restaurante Nossa Senhora da Vitória;

09/18 (Thursday): Chilean National Holidays dinner with chef Enrique Araya at Restaurante Nossa Senhora das Ondas.

09/19 (Friday): Lunch: Latin American Gastronomic Stations with Costao chefs at Restaurante Nossa Senhora das Ondas.
